Rules & General Guidelines

==========================

(Actual RULES that can cause people to be dropped from the list will be marked with **at the beginning of the rule. The rest are just general ideas of things you should try to do to make everything run much smoother)

If you have an administrative request that you don't know how to take care of on your own, do NOT send it to the list posting address, please send it to me at MMontgo861@aol.com.

When you are replying to a post, and you want your reply to go to the entire list, please send your reply *only* to mrosenbaum@onelist , do not send carbon copies to everyone else involved in the thread as it only causes more unnecessary mail for these people. For example, if you hit "Reply All" when replying to a post delete all the other addresses out of the To: field that are not the list's posting address.

Please, for the love of God, no "Me too" posts. "Me too" posts are the most dreaded pieces of e-mail in mailing list history. What a "Me too" post entails is when someone makes a point, and you agree with them so you basically send a post to the ENTIRE list that says "I agree" or "Me too", and is not actually adding anything significant to the subject. Please send this kind of thing to the person PRIVATELY and not to the entire list.

For the most part, I want as little off-topic postings as humanly possible. However, at times conversations to veer off into off-topic subjects and that is what gives a group it's personality and flavor, so if you are posting something off-topic please put "OT" or "Off-Topic" in your subject headings. That way, those who are not interested will be able to delete the message without having to read it.

**NO FLAMING! Absolutely positively no flaming. If I see you flaming on this list then I will remove you from the list without even a warning. I hate when people flame in front of the whole list, and will not deal with it. If you want to flame someone, then do it by e-mailing them privately but do NOT let me see it. (For those of you who are new to this, flaming means being mean or insulting towards other people, usually in a really nasty way.)

**SWEARING. Ick, ugh, blah. Profanity sucks. It's just obscene. Not that I don't use it like a sailor in real life, but that's not the point. The point is that I will not swear on this list, and I would expect the rest of you to do the same. There are a lot of younger people on this list and I don't want their parents getting mad at me if they happen to catch a bunch of swearing in their child's mailbox. (Same goes with ANYTHING overly obscene, period.)

Well that's all :-) so go and enjoy the list.
